The original Tiffany Lamps were designed by Louis Comfort Tiffany in the late 1800's. His lamps are either in museums or in private collections.  Our lamps and most others for retail sale today are known as "Tiffany Style" lamps with this term used interchangeable with "Tiffany Lamps." Meyda Tiffany Lighting owns the company and all its equipment used to manufacturer all Louis Comfort Tiffany's original lamps.

Meyda Lighting workers are master craftsmen at designing and hand making all shades, glassware and bases. All products and molds are designed and controlled by Meyda Lighting. Only a select group is assembled internationally with the majority assembled in New York. Few bases are made by other manufacturers.
